The Sandeman 1958 Vintage Port is a lovely wine for drinking now. 1958 was a fairly small vintage which wasn’t as widely declared as the 1955s or 1960s. Medium-bodied, with soft red fruit tones, overtones of dried fruits and wood smoke, this is a traditional after-dinner sipping Port.
good level | Provenance: part of a private collection amassed mainly in the 1970s and 1980s by a discerning and knowledgeable wine enthusiast who began collecting in his student days. The wines were meticulously stored in a traditional cellar and have lain undisturbed for decades. This offering presents a unique opportunity to acquire rare and historical bottles from a bygone era.
