Description and Reviews:
1994 Ramos Pinto Quinta Ervamoira
A distinguished vintage Port from the Quinta de Ervamoira estate, which is one of the notable vineyards owned by Ramos Pinto, noted for its unique terroir that contributes a distinctive character in its wines.
Tasting Notes
This is a deep, dark ruby vintage port with a complex nose of ripe dark fruits, chocolate, spices, and floral undertones. Its full-bodied, velvety texture and concentrated fruit flavours make it a long-lasting and persistent wine. With aging potential, it can develop further complex tertiary flavours like dried fruit, nuts, and tobacco. A remarkable example of a Vintage Port, showcasing the excellence of both the estate and the vintage.
Serving and Food pairing
Vintage Ports are best decanted and served slightly below modern room temperature: 16° to 18° C. This is the kind of wine that can be enjoyed now or aged even further to allow its flavours to develop and evolve over time. Whether you're sipping it on its own or pairing it with a rich dessert like chocolate mousse or a selection of aged cheeses, a vintage port is sure to be a memorable experience.

How to store your Vintage Port
Vintage Port, like all fine wines, prefers to remain undisturbed, lying on its side in a dark and at least slightly humid place at a stable temperature of between 10°C and 14°C to mature properly.
