Release of just 24 bottles of the Palmer 1971 Colheita Port for the UK.
Port from 1971 is extremely rare. We became aware of a small quantity that was acquired by Fernando van Zeller in early 2021 from a family owned vineyard. Recently certified by the IVDP, it is one of the few Colheita Ports from 1971 in existence.
Tasting Notes This is a Port matured in cask for five decades. Medium Tawny colour with aromatic notes of coffee, molasses, figs and cigar box. An elegant light-bodied port with integrated acidity and a subtle texture. Long, smooth finish.
