Graham's Port, 1952
Single Harvest Tawny Port
Includes Original Gift Box
Description and Reviews:
Graham’s 1952 Single Harvest Tawny Port was first bottled in 2012 to commemorate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee in a limited release of individually numbered bottles.
Attractive auburn, coppery tones with subtle gradations of pale orange and green on the rim denote its venerable age. With mesmerizing aromas of honeysuckle, Seville orange, almonds and soft caramel, it has unbelievable vitality and zest for a wine of its years. The palate is pure seduction, concentrated yet silky with gorgeous, soft citrus fruit melding with subtle butterscotch and honey flavours. Present — both aromatically and in the mouth — are appealing notes of toffee and marzipan. The incredible balance between concentration and freshness, after six decades of cask ageing, is one of this wine’s great attributes.
Colheita Port Storage and Serving Advice:
Colheita Port should be stored in a cool and dry place, sheltered from light and temperature fluctuations, and the bottle should remain in an upright position. If stored correctly, Colheita Ports will keep for decades in the bottle. Over time, it is natural that a little sediment will form at the bottom of a bottle of colheita Port wine. Once opened colheita Port should be stored in a fridge and should be consumed within 3 months. Colheita Ports do not require decanting and are best served at a temperature between 14 and 16°C.
