Description and Reviews:
The origin of the brand Constantino dates back to 1877 and has at its origin a company founded by Constantino de Almeida, dedicated to the export of Port wine. The firm was successful in the first half of the twentieth century, thanks to the vision and management skills of Constantino de Almeida and his successors. The brand is currently recognised for the quality of its famous Brandy, widely expanded in Portugal and beyond. The purity and genuineness of brandy Constantino, which has been preserved for 6 months in the highest quality of wood, are the main characteristics of its excellence.
Reviews:
"Color: Medium brown with orange highlights. Slightly cloudy.
Nose: Caramel, tasted almond, and soft blood orange. Possibly some resin?
Palate: Vanilla, brown sugar, toffee, almond liqueur. Also some apples and cinnamon, but faint. Very faintly gritty texture that seems to go with the brown sugar flavor.
Finish: Starts dry but then quickly gets very rich. Apples and cinnamon much stronger. Very long and delicious. Lingers forever.
Score: 97 points. Absolutely magnificent." For The Love of Port. Tasted 2010.
