Description and Reviews:
Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
Surprisingly opaque and purple, this port has a tightly knit but compact structure, fine depth of fruit, full body, yet seems to tail off in the finish. One of the more tannic and closed ports of this otherwise charming, precocious vintage. (1/1989)
Wine Spectator
Medium purple-ruby with fresh raspberry and chocolate aromas, full-bodied with plenty of raspberry flavors, silky medium tannins and a fresh finish. (12/1989)
