Madeira Island has volcanic soil and sub-tropical climate with unique grape varieties usually uses four different grape varieties: Boal (medium sweet) - Malmsey (sweet) - Sercial (Dry) - Verdelho (medium Dry). This delicious liquorous wine is famously used to cook but it is also an amazing aperitif with incredibly rich nose & mouth flavours and pleasurable after taste
